St. Patrick's Day is celebrated on March 17. It is a traditional Irish holiday. At this special day the people all around the world commemorate the patron saint of Ireland.  * Decorate. To add merriment to the party you should get some noisemakers. * Party Supplies. To set the mood of your party you need to look for various Irish themed things. You can get a life-sized leprechaun which could watch over the pot o' gold (a large bucket filled with ice and beer). * Balloons. Buy some green balloons filled with helium. They will add a festive touch to your party. When the party is over the guests can take the balloons home. * Party games. To make your party fun you need to play some party games. For example, this can be Irish themed word games or quizzes. You may also hide a leprechaun and ask your guests to find it. The person, that will find it, can receive the prize. It is also possible to arrange a scavenger hunt for Irish type items. * Green Beer. You can dye the beer green with the help of food coloring. It is Irish tradition and many pubs use it. For the guests that don’t like beer you can prepare a green punch using lime soda as a base. * Irish Beer is also very important. You should look for Guinness or Harp to keep in the tradition of St. Patrick's Day. It will be useful to ask the shop assistant at the local liquor store to reserve you a keg of your favorite Irish beer. * Irish Food. It should be traditional Irish food such as Irish stew or Irish soda bread. You can also serve to your guests green food such as avocado dip, green vegetables for dipping and green salad. It is also possible to dye some foods green. * Green Theme. You should look for green plates, napkins and green tablecloth to add the festive atmosphere. Your guests can also arrive at the party wearing green.
