Decorating Ideas:
• Create the great indoors if you run into bad weather by hanging green streamers to mimic foliage. • Place cut-outs or create paper birds, spiders, ladybugs and butterflies around the room. • Decorate with bright paper flowers
Activity Ideas:
• Bring out the artiste in your little guests; A white tablecloth and crayons are all you need to have them create a beautiful outdoor table setting.
• Make Kool Aid Play Clay in bright colors and have the kids make their own butterflies. Making play clay combine 2 1/2 cups flour, 1/2 cup salt and 2 pkg. unsweetened Kool-Aid Drink Mix and 2 Tbsp. cream of tartar. Then add 2 cups boiling water and 3 Tbsp. vegetable oil. Beat up together with fork 3-4 min. or until cool enough to handle. Use waxed paper to knead. (Remind kids not to eat this clay.)
• Give each team a net, a few containers and have them bring back ants, spiders, ladybugs etc. The first team back - wins.
• Place bowls of Life Savers candies around the room with shoestring licorice. Use the kids string the Life Savers to create bright, colorful and delicious necklaces.
