7) Create bug jar centerpieces. Take a clear jar with a lid, punch holes there and attach bug stickers to the outside of the jar or glue small plastic bugs to the inside of the jar.

8) Make machie bee hives from the paper, paint and decorate them. Put some pipe cleaner bees inside the hives and hang them around.

Party Cake:
The cake for this party can be in shape of a lady bug or choose a bettle cake.  You need to bake a round cake, double layered and decorate it in such a way that it could look like a lay bug or bettle. Use licorice to cretae long antennas and choose shortet ones for legs. To create a lay bug take flattened blackgum drops to make the spots.

As an alternative you can also make a dirt and worms cake. Frost a sheet cake with chocolate icing. Crush Oreo cookies in a ziplock bag and put them in the entire top of the cake. Add gummi worms.

Another idea is to make individual servings with mud and dirt cupcakes topped with a gummi worm.
