Party Planning Tips:
1. You should decorate the house with cat toys and cat party goods.

2. Give a headband with cat ears for each child which they should wear as they arrive at the party.

Craft Activities
There are many different craft activities with which you can start the party as all the kids arrive:

* You can decorate goody bags with an outline of a cat already traced on them.

* Place cat magnets or pins which can be also decorated.

* Hand out cat coloring pagesto the children on which they can work.

* Apply temporary cat or any other tattoos to the children's hands and arms.

Party Games
1. Mother Cat May I?
This game is played as traditional "Mother, May I?" game:
The birthday child should be a Mother Cat and other children should stand in a line facing her but separated by at least six feet. Then Mother Cat calls to one child and asks her to take a certain number of steps toward her.

If the child forgets to ask the question, or follows the incorrect "meow" response, she's out of the game. The child who manages to reach Mother Cat first wins the game.

2. Hunt the Mice
Before the beginning of the party you need to hide small toy mice throughout the party room. Then ask the children to hunt for the mice acting like little kittens. The found mice should be divided evenly among the children. Give a special prize to a child who finds the most mice.

3. Giggle Kittens
The children should sit in a circle except for a birthday child. The birthday child  should go around the circle and make all the kids laugh by making funny faces and kitten sounds to them. The last child not laughing is the winner.
