An Easter party is so much fun, especially for children. Here are some great ideas for Easter this year, including Easter party activities.

Egg Toss

Purchase 4 different colored Easter buckets (from the dollar store). Draw a "10" on the first bucket, on the second bucket, draw a "20", and on the third bucket, draw a "30".

Put three of the four buckets about a foot apart in a line (in order- "10" first, then "20" behind, and so on. Stick a 4 inch piece of masking tape on the floor, about 3 feet in front of the first bucket.

Place plastic Easter eggs to the 4th bucket. Have the children stand in a line. Decide how lots of eggs each child will throw. Give the first child in line one egg at a time to toss into the buckets.

Explain the object of the game is to get as many points as possible, which means get as many eggs in the "30" as possible.

The child, who gets the most points, wins a prize.easter_bunny

You may need to move the masking tape for the younger children - and change the rules a little (just have them toss the egg in any bucket).

Guess how many jellybeans?

Fill a jar with jellybeans, and have each child guess the amount. Wins the closest guess

Host an Easter egg hunt

Prior to the party, fill plastic Easter Eggs with small candy, toys, and coins.  Also you can buy the eggs pre-filled with goodies.

Check to purchase enough for at least 10 eggs per child.  Gather all eggs and hide throughout yard, or party area.  You should ensure yard is free of debris or anything that could harm the children.

Ask the guests to bring a bag or Easter basket along with them for gathering their eggs. You could also supply each party guest a festive Bunny Bag.

When it’s time to "hunt", make sure that there are plenty of parents/helpers to assist the smaller kids.
