An Easter party is so much fun, especially for children. Remember coloring eggs, going on Easter egg hunts, dressing up in your special Easter outfit to go to church, and waiting for the Easter bunny… Here are some great ideas for Easter this year, including Easter party activities.

Decorations
Use pastel tablecloths or flat sheets for the tables.
Make prints of bunny paw out of pink construction paper or pasteboard and tape to the floor leading into the party.
Then hang inflated Easter eggs from the ceiling. Using a hot glue gun, attach bright spring silk flowers to grapevine, forming an arch to put in the main entry-way.
Hang bunny balloons. Find a branch from your backyard, and spray paint it white, and hang plastic Easter eggs (by ribbon) all over it and stick in the corners of the room.
Food
Serve baby carrots with dip, little egg salad sandwiches and chicken salad sandwiches, juice boxes, and Easter cupcakes or cookies - (for the cupcakes, just use green frosting for grass, and add jellybeans to the top (for the colored eggs).
Activities
Pin the Carrot in the Bunny's hand
* Purchase a 4 ft or so, passable Easter bunny (sold at most dollar stores). * Draw and cut out a carrot using orange pasteboard * Tape the Easter bunny to a wall -so that the children can reach it. * Have the child stand about 4 feet from the wall facing the bunny, blindfold the child with a bandana, hand them the "carrot" with 2 sided tape on the back - and spin them around. Let them try to place the carrot on the bunny's hand.
