Try these tried and true tips for a super food fest.
1. Invest in a few plastic coolers to store all beer and beverages. It will save you some valuable refrigerator space and keep everyone out of the kitchen.
 2. Use chafing dishes to keep food hot throughout the entire game.
3. Consider setting up two televisions: one for the die-hard football watchers, and another for the social viewers.
4. Avoid blended drinks. They may seem like a great idea, but your kitchen will be a sticky disaster after everyone leaves.
5. For a great dish that has big flavor and will stay hot for most of the game, try specialty of the house, chicken.
6. Instead of dropping $300 on a monster deli sandwich, make your own homemade grinders. Just cut the ends off five loaves of bread and line them up one after the other. Top all with quality meats, oil, vinegar, tomatoes, pepperoni and wrap in aluminum foil.
7. Cut a bunch of soft pretzels in half and serve with three types of mustard, melted cheese and napkins.
8. Since it's too cold to barbecue in most parts of the country, braise a two-pound pork butt. Serve with potato rolls and a little coleslaw.
9. Make one big batch of cocktails, so you don't spend the entire party mixing drinks. • If possible, host this party outside at picnic tables in your yard, or on the beach... • Cover tables with patterned fabric, or even some muslin fabric.. • Use brandy glasses filled with sand and votives to scatter about the table... • Fill clear glass vase with fresh daisies for a centerpiece... • Rent the movie Clambake for more inspiration!
