Pin the Nose on the Pumpkin Game How it Works: Buy or make a large poster board pumpkin; Draw jack-o-lantern eyes and mouth on the pumpkin but NO nose; Cut triangles out of black construction paper; Write each child's name on the back of triangle; Add a "loop" of scotch tape on the back of each triangle; Play like pin the tail on the donkey; whoever gets their nose closest to the correct spot wins.
Spider Toss Game How it Works: Buy a decoration spider web; Hang on the wall; Have children make Pipe Cleaner Spiders; Children can stand back from web a pre-determined distance and toss their spider toward the web. The one, who comes closest to the middle of the web wins.
Finishing For Spiders Game How it Works: Have children make Pipe Cleaner Spiders; Put spiders in a bucket; Have a pole with a string attached; Make a loop with the end of the string; "Fish" for spiders! Limit time - 30 or 60 seconds; Whoever catches the most spiders wins. Consideration: Older kids can play a combination of Spider Toss and Fishing for Spiders; Child starts out fishing; After a spider is caught, the child may toss it to the spider web; Whoever has the most spiders caught on the web at the end of the time limit wins.
Mousetrap Finishing How it Works:: Put some mousetraps on the floor (new, clean ones, please) and give player a fishing pole with a stuffed mouse on it... or a witch, or anything, really... they try to fling the mouse out and catch a trap... if they're really good they can get more than one.
