| Party Games | PUSH THE PEANUT Objective: A game where you attempt to push a peanut with a toothpick to the finish line. Categories: Birthdays, Adults Game type: Active: A lot of movement may be required. Players: 6 or more players. Needed: Toothpicks Peanuts (in their shells) Rules: Give each racer a toothpick and a peanut (in the shell); Their job is to use the toothpick to push and roll the peanut from the starting line to the finish line. It can be played on the floor or on a table; On the floor or carpet, you can mark the starting and finish lines with masking tape; On a table just go from one end to the other. STRING HUNT Objective: A game where kids follow their string to the prize. Categories: Birthdays Game type: Active: A lot of movement may be required. Players: 2 to 6 players. Needed: String or yarn and prizes or candy Rules: Great for birthday parties where you want to give each guest a favor; For each child you will need a small block of wood wrapped with a very long (several yards) piece of yarn; Make sure each child has a different color yarn. Before the party unwrap the yarn by winding it back and forth, over and under and through the furniture in party room; At the end of each piece of yarn tie a favor; As the guests arrive give them their block and let them wind up the yarn as they follow the string to the favor.
SPOON RELAY Objective: A relay race where you transport water from a bowl to a glass; Fill it up and win! Categories: Groups, Relay Race, Birthdays, Kids Game type: Active: A lot of movement may be required. Players: 6 or more players. Needed: Two bowls, spoons and glasses Rules: Divide into two equal teams; Setup a chair with a bowl of water and a spoon on it for each team; A few steps away set up two more chairs with an empty glass on each of them; At the whistle the players race to fill the glass with water from the bowl using the spoons; Players rotate turns until one team wins; To speed up the game use small glasses.
